Time:2023-04-07 10:07:20  Watch:469

1. What is a woman's basal body temperature?

The basal body temperature of normal women was low before and high after ovulation day. Progesterone is less before ovulation, and the body temperature shows a trend of low temperature, generally 36.2℃. After ovulation, the body temperature rises sharply, generally increasing by 0.3℃-0.6℃, so that the basic body temperature reaches 36.7℃, showing a high temperature trend.

2. What is basic body temperature?

The body wakes up after a long (6 hours) sleep and the temperature measured before activity is called the basic body temperature.

3. Basic body temperature of women

In women of normal reproductive age, the basic body temperature is the same as the menstrual cycle, with periodic changes, related to ovulation.

A woman's menstrual cycle begins on the first day her period turns red. Cycle length varies from person to person, about 21-35 days, with an average of about 28 days. Ovulation day is divided into follicular phase before ovulation and luteal phase after ovulation. The follicular phase may not be long, but the luteal phase is fixed at about 14 days. The day after ovulation, the body temperature rises by 0 degrees Celsius as the ovaries form the corpus luteum. About 6 degrees. Temperature changes. The high temperature period is about 12-16 days (mean 14 days).

If there is no pregnancy, luteal atrophy stops secreting lutein, body temperature drops, returns to the basic line, menstruation.

If you are pregnant, the body continues to secrete lutein and keep your body temperature high, supported by the hormone production of the embryo.

If ovarian function is poor, anovulation or luteal formation, the body temperature will continue to be low.
