Electronic thermometers use the principle that the resistance value of a temperature sensing element (usually a thermistor) changes with the change of ambient temperature. Compared with ordinary mercury thermometers, electronic thermometers are intuitive to read, easy to carry, small and novel, and not easy to damage. Electronic thermometers generally consist of four parts, the head is the temperature sensing part, the rod body is a digital temperature display, next to the power switch button, and the end is the battery box and cover. Pay attention to the following points when buying an electronic thermometer:
1. Visual inspection.
Usually, electronic thermometers are made small and beautiful, with a smooth surface and no blemishes.
2. Power on inspection.
Place the switch button in the leading position and check that the display sign is correct.
3. Check accuracy. Press the switch button and the LOC mark appears on the LCD.
