·Preparation before using an electronic thermometer
Step 1
Use cotton swabs or toilet paper to disinfect the alcohol and wipe down the temperature sensor head and temperature measuring stick of the electronic thermometer. To avoid damaging electronic thermometer parts, do not touch electronic thermometer parts other than the thermometer head and temperature measuring stick with alcohol or other solutions.
Step 2
Turn on the switch and press the ON/OFF button of the electronic thermometer to turn on the power of the electronic thermometer. The electronic thermometer display displays for about 2 seconds, and then displays the last electronic thermometer temperature measurement for about 2 seconds after showing” L°C”, where “°C” flashes, indicating that the electronic thermometer can measure temperature.
·Measurement method of electronic thermometer
①Armpit measurement method: Place the temperature head of the thermometer into the center of the armpit and clamp for about 1 minute. When the ”°C” on the electronic thermometer display stops flashing, it means that the armpit temperature of the electronic thermometer has been measured. Note: Measure the natural sagging of the forearm, close the armpit for 3 minutes to stabilize the armpit temperature, and then put the temperature part of the thermometer into the armpit and clamp it for about 1 minute, which is lower than the actual temperature of the human body, and the measured value is about 0.3°C ~ 0.6°C.
②Method of measuring oral temperature: Before measuring the electronic thermometer, close your lips for about 1 minute to stabilize the oral temperature. Place the temperature sensing head of the thermometer at the inner base under the tongue, and after tightly connecting with the tongue, close the lips for about 1 minute. When the “°C” on the electronic thermometer display stops flashing, it means that the oral temperature of the electronic thermometer has been measured. Recommendation: It is recommended to take the body temperature by mouth, and the normal body temperature close to the human body is between 36.0°C and 37.0 °C.
